Parking Options

Two hours free parking!

  1. Park on P1 only when space is available
  2. Register license plate number in Parking Kiosk on ground floor of Library
  3. For longer stays:
    ​a) Weekdays 8am–4pm, park & pay on P1
    b) Evenings and weekends, park & pay on P1, P2 & P3
    c) There is $3 flat-rate parking from 4pm to 8am the next morning.

  • We encourage you to keep your visit short
  • Branches have occupancy limits and not all services are available

What we’re doing 

  • Limiting the number of patrons in each library branch to aid physical distancing 
  • Hand sanitizer available for use 
  • Plexiglass dividers at service counters 
  • Increased cleaning of high-touch areas 
  • Training Library staff in safety measures
  • Following the BC Centre for Disease Control guidelines for libraries. Please note that the BC CDC does not advise libraries to quarantine or disinfect their loaned materials as the risk of getting sick from library materials is very low. The BC CDC also has additional information for library visitors

  • Stay home if you are feeling sick or are required to self-isolate 
  • Consider wearing a mask 
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the building 
  • Practise physical distancing throughout the library 
  • Follow all signs 
  • Limit your time in the library to allow others a chance to use the library
