Tour the 1894 farmhouse with a costumed guide and imagine Surrey farm life at the turn of the 19th century. Enjoy a picnic on the grounds, bring your easel or camera to capture the scenery, and walk the grounds. They also have fun seasonal family programs.

Museum of Surrey

Wide range of exhibits and activities for all ages. Admission is free. Have an TD Explore Zone Kid’s area that is great for toddlers to early elementary age kids. Combined with the Cloverdale branch of Surrey Libraries, it is a great rainy day outing for families with young children.

Surrey Art Gallery

Interesting, contemporary exhibitions. It is the second largest public art gallery in the Metro Vancouver Region. Admission is free, and they have a range of free and paid programs. Located next to Bear Creek park, so the two can be combined for a full day outing.

Surrey Libraries

Surrey Libraries offers a range of free programs across Surrey at our branches. You can see what is coming up on our website or grab a paper calendar next time you are at your local library. Programs include things like storytimes for kids, English conversation classes, drop-in computer help, book clubs, and author events.

Surrey Nature Centre

Fun programs and events for all ages and a chance to explore the natural beauty of Green Timbers.  Enjoy daily activities, including borrowing a themed discovery backpack, borrowing a fishing rod for free (16 years and older require a fishing license), or listening to a nature storytime.  Indoor space where you can play and learn at your own pace with a variety materials and opportunities for hands-on exploration.

Surrey Parks

Surrey has a huge number of parks spread across the city.  There is a stocked fishing lake in Green Timbers or a great bike park at the South Surrey Athletic Park. Whatever your interest, there are wonderful green spaces in Surrey.
