National Indigenous Peoples Day

"June 21" There are three images next to the date: an eagle, a narwhal, and a violin. The eagle represents First Nations. The narwhal represents Inuit. The violin represents Métis.

National Indigenous History Month takes place this June, and National Indigenous Peoples Day is June 21. It’s a special occasion to learn more about the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
