Will Preparation Basics

Thursday, June 8 2023, 1–2:30pm
Fleetwood Branch

Has "writing a will" been on your to-do list for a long time? Having a will ensures your estate (what you own minus what you owe) will be distributed according to your wishes when you die, and is important for you and those who are left to manage your estate.  This workshop outlines the major elements in a will, the timeliness of preparing one, benefits of having a will, and will suggest opportunities to help ensure your intentions are fulfilled.

Outcomes: Participants will be able to describe the basics of will preparation, along with factors to consider and various options for creating a will.

Part of Seniors’ Week events.  In participation with the Family Services of Greater Vancouver.

Remember, for all programs:

  • Masks are optional
  • Stay home if you are sick
