Canadian Tire COVID-19 Response Fund
As part of their COVID-19 Response Fund, Canadian Tire will be providing up to $3M in personal protective equipment and essential products from across our family companies to support frontline healthcare and community workers. There is an application form on their site.

Community Response Fund
Vancity, Vancouver Foundation, and United Way have launched a $3+ million Community Response Fund for organizations to address the pandemic.

FoodRescue.ca is a new platform that takes a local approach, giving food donors a simple and fast system to connect directly with social service programs in local communities. Neighbourhood Small Grants - Reducing Social Isolation
The Vancouver Foundation has a new Responsive NSG grant stream that provides grants of up to $500 for projects that connect people socially or involve sharing skills or talents with each other. Projects must comply with public health orders for physical distancing. This is available to all BC residents. The Responsive NSG grant stream is now open as of April 15. The end date will be determined based on public health orders.

Reaching Home Funding
VanCity’s Reaching Home COVID-19 funding will be available after April 1. Over $2.6 million will be available to projects aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness in the Metro Vancouver Region.

SurreyCares Emergency Community Support Fund
Over $900,000 in assistance to charities and non-profit organizations serving vulnerable populations. The maximum grant is $75,000. Applications are open now and close on June 27, 2020.
