It’s a book on how to love yourself so you can be the best you for yourself, your loved ones, and the larger world around you

This book is both a memoir and a helpful tips guide on navigating life in our current society. It dives into many topics including gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, addiction, parenting and more.

It’s told from the perspective of a woman passionate about gender equality, who acknowledges both sides of the feminine-masculine extremes. Both extremes can be detrimental to us as individuals, and as a collective society when we are forced to fit into one box and be someone we are not. She expresses the importance of girls and women being told it’s ok for them to be strong, courageous, and ambitious out in the world and know that they don’t need validation from boys/men/others, just like boys and men need to be told it’s ok for them to be vulnerable, feel and express their emotions and realize their identity does not lie in external things like power, money, or validation from girls/women/others. It’s a book on how to love yourself so you can be the best you for yourself, your loved ones, and the larger world around you (Submitted by Amanda).
