It's beautiful: vivid, extremely observant, thought provoking

I have recently read The Missing Field, a collection of poetry, written by Jennifer Zilm. It's beautiful: vivid, extremely observant, thought provoking, and what I liked best - it made me feel as if I am also a part of it.

There are places and experiences that I recognize and can easily relate to. Zilm's diction is its own masterpiece in itself: rich language with perfectly crafted words that fall into their precise spots. If you'd like to meet the author - I strongly recommend you coming to Surrey Libraries' Authors Among Us program that will be taking place on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Guildford branch. Event is FREE. Registration is required: please, call 604-598-7366. (Submitted by Mariya)
