Learn about the local Mud Bay ecosystem and how the City of Surrey is preparing for sea level rise in low lying parts of Surrey.

The Ocean Park branch will be hosting a pair of events on May 30th and June 6th. On the 30th, Matt Christensen of Ducks Unlimited Canada and Matt Osler of the City of Surrey will be presenting on the important biodiversity in Mud Bay. Then on June 6th, Matt will be back with Kate Heikkila from Surrey Archives to talk about the City's strategy for approaching sea level rise. Both of these events are a great way to learn about our surrounding area and what we can do to navigate coming changes.
