The Fleetwood branch is proud to be displaying works by Rosita Herat for the months of November and December.
Rosita started drawing and painting at a very young age in Sri Lanka and now lives in Surrey, British Columbia.
She believes that art is a calling and a gift. Being able to create something from the simplest expression to a piece of art is Journey.
She is completely self taught and enjoys painting a variety of subjects that seems challenging to her from wildlife to landscapes, and portraits to still life. Her goal is to get the viewer's attention to the beauty of the natural world and reconnect them with nature. Originally from Sri Lanka now based in Surrey, Canada is a self-taught artist. She has had her paintings juried to a few exhibitions. She likes to paint on a variety of subjects like wildlife, birds, portraits and still-life and anything that seems challenging to her.
