Semiahmoo Library is proud to be displaying works by Andre Paulhus for the months of May and June.

Andre Paulhus

I originally came from a small French community in southern Manitoba. I relocated to the beautiful west coast years ago. I have always been drawn by the arts and after becoming an empty nester decided I would turn my spare time towards water colors. After numerous classes and seminars over the years

I developed a greater love for painting. My main interests are winter scenes, sunsets, nature, flowers, etc. as displayed in the Semiahmoo library during the month of May.

I really enjoy creating stand alone small paintings as shown in the display case these make for great gifts for all occasions e.g. mother’s day, birthdays, or any other occasions you feel fit. I also paint greeting cards for all occasions.

As a member of the Surrey Arts Council I attend a number of presentations and competitions.  I have received some very positive feed back from displaying my works in various locations including a number of libraries in the greater Vancouver area.

I am proud to say that I have a great number of paintings displayed in homes in Calgary, Winnipeg, Prince George, Courtenay, France, Great Britain, Australia and in the lower mainland.
