This Old House (Family History)

Sat Feb 2 | 11:30 am - 1:30 pm | Cloverdale Library

Your ancestors' stories revealed through their homes!

Discover how a home’s history is intimately connected with the people who lived there. Learn how to get started researching your ancestors’ home histories.

Ann Buchanan presents research on four of her ancestral homes and discusses how each house tells a unique story:

  • Yorkshire in 1606
  • Northern Ireland in 1919
  • Richmond in 1891
  • Surrey log cabin in 1956

Then Carmen Merrells presents ways to research your own ancestral homes using a variety of resources, including those available through Cloverdale Library.
