Family History Research for Indigenous & Metis Ancestors

Sat Jun 20 | 1:00 pm - | Cloverdale Branch

Research involving Indigenous and Metis resources can be very challenging for family historians.  Records can be difficult to locate, and many information gaps exist.

In this presentation, learn to navigate the Indigenous and Metis research resources that are available through Library and Archives Canada. Also, learn about other resources available at the Family History department at Surrey Libraries.

Co-Presented by Susanne Sulzberger, Archivist, Library and Archives Canada; and Carmen Merrells, Librarian, Surrey Libraries Family History Department
