Eastern European Genealogy Research

Thu Jan 27 | 11:00 am - 12:00 pm | Digital Branch

Success in eastern European genealogical research starts with a good foundation. It is also incumbent upon currently identifying the ancestral village. This overview presentation will touch on genealogy basics and suggest useful resources. It will show sample records and provide tips for confirming the village name.

Our presenter for this online program is Chris Bukoski.  Chris is the Program Chair and a long-standing member of the East European Genealogical Society. Her experience includes a successful research trip to Ukraine.

For this online program, we will be using Microsoft Teams. You will need a computer with a microphone (or headphones) and webcam, or your smartphone, or an iPad/tablet. An email address is required for registration.
