Authors Among Us: Meet Hassan Al Kontar

When Hassan Al Kontar became trapped in the arrivals zone at Kuala Lumpur Airport, he used social media and humour to tell his story to the world.

Raised in Syria, he is now a permanent resident of Canada and continues to advocate for refugees. Hassan will talk about his book, Man at the Airport: How Social Media Saved My Life (One Syrian's Story).
