What does TAG do?

  • Plan and develop teen programs
  • Give feedback on the library’s teen collections (music, movies etc)
  • Contribute ideas to the library’s Teen Central Page on the web
  • Suggest ways that the library can better serve teens
  • Review books
  • Promote the library as a great place to be!
  • Get volunteer credit hours for attending meetings and participating in youth programs

Membership Criteria

  • 13-18 years of age
  • Valid library card
  • Volunteer in the library a minimum of 10 hours annually
  • Use the library appropriately
  • If you miss more than 3 meetings in a row without notification, must reapply

Where and when does TAG meet?

Join a TAG at a location near you:  City Centre, Fleetwood, or Guildford Libraries.  Once you join a group, you can only change locations with permission from the group leaders.

Anyone interested in joining can fill out an application form, get it signed by a parent and attend the next meeting at the chosen location. For more information call Carolyn at 604-598-7436 or email
