What is My PIN?

What is my library PIN?

Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is the four digit number we give you when you get your library card.

Remember your PIN! You will need it to access your account, place holds, renew items, and use online resources from Surrey Libraries.

You can change your PIN (Personal Identification Number) online or in person at a library branch (you will need your library card). To protect the security of your account, your PIN cannot be changed by telephone.

How do I change or reset my PIN?

To change your PIN online follow these steps:

  • Login to your library account with your Surrey Libraries card number or BiblioCommons username and PIN
  • Click on Personal Information under My Settings
  • Enter your current PIN, then enter your new PIN twice to confirm it then click Save

BiblioCommons also has step-by-step instructions for resetting your PIN via your email. You must have an email address associated with your Surrey BiblioCommons account in order to reset your PIN.

Unable to reset your PIN? Contact your branch by email or bring your library card to your nearest branch.

We check email daily Monday to Friday and responses are provided during our hours of operation.

On Saturdays and Sundays, or if you need an immediate response, please contact us by phone.
