Teacher Resource Collection

Need inspiration for your next primary or early years curriculum unit? This collection offers some great books for planning circle times – including books with patterns, themed units with book suggestions, craft, activity and snack ideas, plus lots more. Larger separate collections are at both Guilford and City Centre Libraries Children’s Areas, with select titles in all branches.

Curriculum Support

  • Contact us if you need multiple copies of the same book.
  • Let us know about assignments and we can set aside useful resources for students and label them for “Library Use Only” so we won’t run out.
  • We can gather books, videos, DVDs and magazines that will support your lessons. Keep your check-out receipts and you will have a ready-made list/bibliography for future use.
  • Use the online catalogue to find materials in many formats (books, CDs, DVDs, videos and more!)
  • Free online access from the Library, school or home to a number of information databases especially for kids. All that is needed is a valid Surrey Libraries card.
